MARKETING COMPANY PROJECT PROPOSAL SAMPE

Acknowledgement:

This area is mainly agriculturally oriented .Most people are involved in annual, semi annual and perenial farming. However, they sell their crops through brokers at very low costs. The farmers who incur all the costs from tillage to harvesting should be compensated for their efforts. Thus there is need for the farmers should be given information about the current market prices they they can sell their produce at.They should also be given information on how they can improve their produce.

Vision:

To market customers produce in the market so that their produce are capable of fetching  the current market prices.

Specific objectives:

  1. To provide relevant information on the current market prices of farm produce.
  2. To provide a platform on which customers can sell their produce at zero brokerage.
  3. To promote zero tolerance on brokers who perch on customers produce while they offer minimum prices for their commodities.

Situation:

The place is endowed with very fertile black cotton soil .In times of a good season/rainfall,the farmers produce are twofold or three fold. However, after harvest the farmers do not have a platform on which they can sell their produce because:
  • poor road network.
  • lack of a readily available market
  • lack of a reliable trustworthy transport means
  • lack of market know how
  • perish ability of produce and
  • reluctance of farmers to search for markets
The  brokers have this in mind and thus farmers fall prey of brokers who are there to exploit them using manipulative tactics. The farmers are then offered the minimum prices for the commodities since perishability is their main concern. Most of the people are low income earners who accept any price offered so that they can eke a living. Thus if the people are offered a platform on how they can get a maximum price for their commodities, their living standards would improve.Agrucultural sector is the leading sector of kenyan economy and helping thes farmers would lead to the improvement of our kenyan economy. For eg. try to complete the table below

sustainability of the project:

First of all the brokers offer half the price at which they sell the farmers produce. Most of the farmers would fancy a platform if established that that helps them sell theircan become  produce at favourable prices.Everyone aspires a place where they can negotiate and bargain prices considering the brokers who dictate prices to them. The level of joblessness leaves agriculture sector as the only place where people can become self employed. The minimum prices that brokers offer make it difficult for aspiring and existing farmers as the level of input cost does not correspond with the output cost.If brokerage is not theft then no other vice should be considered wrong to a peopl(society)

DAIRY FARMING PROJECT PROPOSAL(arshire and freshian)

Acknowledgement:

The place has capacity for rearing dairy cows because of the ample space and the readily available grass, nappier grass, maize stalks are all a plus. However,it is necessary to undertake some education on fodder preservation.Regular check up by a veterinary is a must.

Vision:

Make use of the available resources while providing meaningful employment to the jobless.

Specific objectives:

  • Provision of milk in surplus to the dairy saccos.
  • Employ the youth so as to uplift their living standards.
  • Utilize the available resources while en lighting people on how they can utilize the available resources.

Situation:

Kieni is a constituent of Nyeri county. The place is endowed with black cotton soil and experiences perennial rainfall. Most of the population is semi-educated  thus joblessness is the order of the day. However, most of the population has reasonable tracts of land.If these people are enlightened on ways of earning livelihood, their living standards would greatly improve.Besides, all people must learn that dairy farming is a  sensitive business because:
  1. The cows have to be sprayed once per week.
  2. Regular check ups by a professional veterinary is a must.
  3. You must construct good structures where you will place them.
  4. The cows should be fed on a recommended diet.
All in all,the diary farming is a lucrative business and requires people that are strong at heart

LET US EMBRACE ONE ANOTHER

If you hate people, then you will have to be disappointed your whole life since people are everywhere. You have to learn how to cope with them and remember that you teach people how to treat you.If they are treating you badly,it is because you allow them to.Have you gone to a place and people have recoiled in anger or in fear, well it is because of what you are communicating(vibes). You have to teach people to be happy when they see you.Stop intimidating them.People who are happy not only lead happy lives but also live longest. If people are not treating you well, you have a chance to change that.HOW?You may ask but there is only that one person you have control over an that is yourself. Not your wife or children.Have you ever thought that you have control of your  wife,No!you don't have.Your sphere of control over your spouse reaches to until they are in your presence. In your absence, they will do what they choose to.Why do we find people afraid that their spouses will cheat on them and spend the better part of their lives trying to spy on them.Save yourself the agony and just trust them.Have I talked about trust,it is brought about by open communication with them.Do you feel that there is something that you need to tell your spouse and then you keep procrastinating, procrastination is the thief of time they say,so say it today. If you treat them right and satisfy all the aspects of your relationship that you are supposed to play.If you play your part satisfactorily, then worry no more because people learn by the small efforts we accord them.If they cheat on you, save yourself the agony of revenge.Revenge makes you bitter and not better.Nothing gets resolved through it.You will only live with the guilt of cheating yourself into an urge which will never be satisfied.
Treat them right without expecting much in return, eventually you will be the winner.

If they do not reciprocate in the longrun, then the best thing is to move out but first seek professional help. Nobody deserves to be treated badly repetitively .Have you ever seen a couple where one of them likes to put the other down in public, this shows signs of serious low self esteem issues.People that have inferiority complex like to put others down so that they can justify their lack of confidence in themselves.Treat your patners right if you expect them to do the same.If they wrong you, forgive them if they are not major mistakes. This will save you the baggage that later develops to stress.Avoid carrying grudges for so long. When you have diagreements, avoid reminding them about mistakes or issues that have been passed by time and stick to the issues as at that time. All in all, remember that happiness in your life is influenced by the quality of thoughts in your mind.If they are happy thoughts, then you will be happy and vicevesa .If you feel unhappy when you wrong people and they refuse to forgive you, then learn to forgive those that wrong you.Since we are not perfection itself, note others are not likewise perfect.

Of children according to the Bible, spare the rod spoil the child.Thats true and I back that up .Common sense although not common tells us that if you have showed your child the right way to follow and they fail, the most logical thing is to discipline them. But if you have not shown them the right way and you preach to them water as you drink wine, then do not be hasty to being annoyed.Show them the right way first. We are living in a very strange world.Ican sum it into four words,'man eat man society.'We find older generation sleeping with their children, rape cases, suicide cases etc.

These should not shape ou destiny. We should change our destiny by changing the vices on an individual level. eg. rape cases are not caused solely by drugs victims only. The people that rape if you have been following court proceedings lately, the majority of them have been sexually violated when they were younger..We can stop this on an individual level in that we can teach our children what to do when they are sexually violated and try to avoid all forms of sexual violation on them.In so doing,we can be sure that those children stand a high chance of not raping anyone and are capable of avoiding all forms of sexual harasment be it from older relations or peers.I have heard of parents who are scared that their children are into drugs or live in fear oblivious whether their children do drugs.Fear is a very negative form of energy and can make one do all sort of things. The first thing is to give them information about the effects of drug abuse but this does not mean that they will not be taken. So where do we go from here?We must establish the root causes that make the use of drugs inevitable. For most youthis about disappointments in relationships, unemployment and social pressures as they grow up.We should all know that if you treat people as they are, they remain the same. However,if you treat them as they should be,they eventually will be.We can teach people how toact in situations but the power lies with them to choose how to act.If you have sincerely done your part, leave the rest unto God and live your life.

Parents should teach their children how to deal with situations early in life. When they become mature and independent, they should let go.They should know that if they did the right parenting, soon the results will come around. They should learn that noone is a replica or photocopy of another and mature people form their own personalities.Parenting influences peoples behaviour even in adulthood. There are hoever people that are extremist in life. This may not even reflect on the parenting they had.Mature people are responsible for their every actions. There are also societal expectations on such people. They face the repurcussions and consequences of their actions.

We cannot all be the same and do the same things in exactly the same way.Differences make the world more comfortable and not similarities.Imagine a world where we were doing the same thing and thinking about the same things. It would be monotonous and boring. Our differences are what unites us,not similarities. In those differences,it magnifies different ideas.Learn to appreciate people who think and act differently from you.Two people can see the same thing and disagree and still be both right. It is not logical but pschological(stephen covey)It is because of the varying level of emotions we attach on different circumstances.

UNEMPLOYMENT IS A BLESSING IN DISGUISE

When I completed my B.COM degree, I thought that I would land a job in a matter of one week.So I applied to all companies I could think of.I eventually landed an interview at a Chinese company and even after trying to follow them up,they have never given me a reply.I was devastated then but I think there is a reason for everything because the things I have been able to do would not be possible if I was committed to a job.

Unemployment is the lack of an economic activity that brings forth income.I have come across many people who believe that to make it in life they have to be employed.I quite do not like this level of thinking. Imagine the number of people who graduate from secondary schools and tertiary institutions every year, that number is huge.Logically, all those people cannot be absorbed in the available job opportunities.Consider there are also that are employed and are still looking for better jobs and you are competing with them despite you not having the required experience.

The question I ask those job seekers that  I come across is,"If you chance to be employed, will that fulfill you?"most of them tell me that am being stubborn after asking them this. The truth is that after getting the job you will not get fulfilled, you will either want a better job or a better salary package.Look at our current mps for instance. For those of you who are getting lost on the flow,we do not make a living by our economic activity,we make a living through acts of compassion.Have you in that state of joblessness ever thought that you can be an employer?Yes,you can be and even be a tenant for those that are seeking for a place to lay their heads. But I don't have the money?Next you will be asking me what you should do.

Always start with what you have.We always have resources at our disposal be it friends, relatives, land etc.The list varies depending on an individual. The buck starts with you.Learn how you can utilize the the resources that you have at your disposal to your advantage. If it is a business idea, chances are that most people who have been in the situation you are in now probably thought about that same idea.By sharing that idea with other people,it will surprise you how that idea can be modified into a business plan. These ideas are not secrets that you should keep, expose them as that might be your end to joblessness if you come across a willing investor. There those people that may hijack your idea and pretend it is their own. What you should know is that if someone can benefit from one of your ideas, there are many from where that came from and even greater ones are in store.

The greatness of a person is measured by the number of solutions they have for the problems that affect other people. It is of valuable importance to ask people of feasible business that can be operated in an area and that can give you a  different footing.Have I told you that you should not think about what you want to be but rather what you can be.Where you want to be is based on your current reality which is joblessness .Realities do change with time as you will soon get an economic activity if you seek it without despair.Where you can be is the plan as you accept the reality that you don't have a job and there is something that you can do that will lead you to get you that job. Then execute the plan.
Schools, churches, parenting and social gatherings need to teach individuals about entrepreneurship. This is the process of creating and utilizing the available resources at our disposal thus creating incomes for ourselves. It teaches people to identify the needs of their immediate environment and then satisfy those needs thus earning an income and profit.Eg,if there is food shortage, try and use your resources and grow food to sell to those people and you surely get an income.

Never try to venture in a saturated area as you are likely to get into competition that will throw you out of business.Learn about the various businesses that can be started in an area.Depending on the amount of capital required, venture into the one you are capable of running. Before going into a business, learn how it is operated first. It can be through a mentor who has tried your line of business or is in similar business and succeeding. The reason why,is because successful people learn through the mistakes of other people.Otherwise we do not have enough time in the world to learn everything by ourselves. Some mistakes can mean closure of you of your venture and loss of your capital.Another thing remember to save. The  simplest way to double your money is to fold it and place it in your pocket. On another level we all have to practise saving.Try the moneymarket for example, the lowest share price is ksh3 and the highest is ksh50 per share. You have to have a minimum of 100 shares(source NSE,Kenya). That leaves you with ksh300 and ksh5000 respectively to invest. You get divideds as  your earnings and they are very liquid in case you want to get your money back.

As you search for a job, please learn about investing. We have many employed youths who live in enourmous debt. They drive very expensive cars which are on loans and dont you forget their flashy homes which are on motgages. They live each day as it comes.Learn to invest your money in a way that it will earn you income.Take a radicle audit of your life because if you dont, then it will be radically different from what you expected.Dont always work for money, also let it work for you.Your unemployment is not fatal and if you get a job it is not final. It is your courage to continously invest that will count. You are as unemployed as you think you are.Do be entrepreneural.

HELL IN MAI MAHIU

THIS IS BROUGHT TO YOU COURTESY OF A READER OF THIS BLOG
Revellers at an entertainment joint in Mahi Mahiu Trading Centre got thoroughly entertained when a cleric bumped into his daughter and a junior pastor in a club.
Inside the bar, the mood was electric as music blared and patrons quaffed beer and danced. Predictably, after some time, people started getting wild and naughty.
DANCING STYLES
Shy because some of their dancing styles were ‘analogue’, a particular older couple got uneasy with the predominantly youthful crowd and restricted themselves to dancing next to their table.
As time went by, the elderly man decided to answer a call of nature and was forced to walk through the dance floor to the washrooms.
As he was sidestepping through the throng, he stumbled upon a couple dancing ‘bend-over’. The writhing and gyrating amused the old man and on his return, he excitedly stared at them once again  — perhaps to copy a move or two, who knows.
But on close scrutiny through the dim light, the old man got shocked when he discovered he knew the two.
The old man, who was later identified as a cleric from a leading church in Narok, couldn’t believe his eyes. The gyrating waists before him were of his youngest daughter and she was ‘bending-over’ with his deputy, a young pastor who had been recently posted to the church. He let out a wild scream, which was fortunately muffled by the loud music and throwing protocol out of the window, grabbed and dragged them outside the club.
According to one witness, Adam Kariuki, the senior clergyman demanded to know what the two were doing in a bar, flooding them with endless questions, his eyes teary.
UNWIND
It emerged that the elderly man had told his deputy that he had been summoned to Nairobi for a three-day evangelical conference. And while on his way, chose to unwind halfway the journey.

And as fate would have it, his junior had decided to take advantage of his missing boss to take out his secret lover — the pastor’s daughter — only for them to coincidentally meet at the same club.
“He was angered that his deputy, who is married, was having an affair with his 22-year-old daughter,” said Kariuki, a witness.
The junior pastor and the pastor’s daughter got too shocked and only lowered their heads in shame as the man screamed and threatened to curse them.
BEAUTIFUL WOMAN
However, this was just a tip of the ice berg because more was to unfold. Impatient and disturbed with the disappearance of her partner, the beautiful woman who the pastor had been regaling, decided to look for him only to find him solving a scandal outside.
“Ngai, hata wewe uko hapa na unafanya nini? (gosh! You too come to such places? What are you doing here?),” the woman screamed at the junior pastor.
It was then that it dawned to the young pastor and his date that the senior man had come to the bar accompanied by a member of the church choir.
With shock on her face, the woman stood there unable to speak as the junior pastor took a swipe at his senior.
Embarrassment gripped all the parties present and without warning or good-byes, all four parted ways unceremoniously.
